BAD NEWS

Tue Jul 7, 2009, 5:00 PM
There is about a 99% chance that I won't have internet access for a while.

My laptop is about to kick the bucket over a program that's supposed to HELP my computer. The catch is: you can't remove it, and in order for it to actually work, you have to purchase it.

And I was going to do a System Restore, but everything I have on my laptop doesn't fit on my Flash Drive.

I'm about to cry.

If you need to reach me, call or text me. If you don't have my number, contact nearly anyone in the Turks.

Love,

Gun

Eep... do you have a CD/DVD burner? Can you burn off your important files in addition to flash-driving it?
I HATE programs that you CAN'T remove completely... like NORTON! GAWD! You have to download a special Remover tool to get rid of it's NINJA SHANK YOU crap!
CCleaner is a good tool for removing programs and keeping your comp happy... If it's your antivirus, I use AVG Free, and it works fine. I had a malware issue recently, but most virus scanners don't cover that. But I got the problem fixed and have a malware checker now.
I hope you can fix all this and have a happy lappy again!

It IS the Windows Antui-virus! But even after system restoring scanning, and everything else I could think of, the internet still closes itself out after only seconds of being opened. I have to use Tim's desktop for now. So I'll be online and such, just not ALL THE TIME like I usually am, LOL!

But I really don't know what else to do with my laptop. The disc drive hasn't ever worked, so I think it's time for a new one. I've had that going on about 2 years now, and I didn't buy it from a store. D:

It's on my X-mas list. :D

The only problem with that is tha my disc driver doesn't work, hasn't since I got it!

(And that's why I will never buy a computer from an outside source again!)

But thanks for the offer. :D
